![]() Compilation of articles from Claire's popular website and You Tube Channel. One could polish this off in two evenings tops. I read it from cover to cover in under two hours. If you’re interested in Anne Boleyn and the Tudor period, I highly recommend these books. ![]() However as a huge Tudor fan who soaks up all the Tudor knowledge I can, there’s still plenty to get me thinking, questioning and further reading that these books have inspired. These books would be perfect for someone who has enjoyed Tudor fiction and wanted to learn some of the facts behind the stories without being held down by some of the weightier biographies or non fiction books. Also I find her description of Anne Boleyn as some where between saint and sinner is very close to my own opinion. The tone is conversational but not gossipy, she puts forward her opinion eloquently but also gives an in depth account of the other side of the argument citing sources or quoting books, some of which I’ve read and many that I’ve added to the reading list. As a series of blog posts I’d pre judged them as inferior and unable to be in depth. A great read for anyone interested in Anne Boleyn ![]()
